The very first idea for Bike-Off actually started back in the winter of 2024, when my husband and I bought identical bikes. We were just looking at them and I said, “It’s nonsense to ride around with the same ones.” That’s when I started searching for a place to repaint my bike. But then the questions began: what color should I choose so that I wouldn’t get bored of it and would always like it? What about the frame— would it still be original? The options I liked had to be sent to Germany — kind of worrying. And how much extra would it cost?? When you add it all up — it comes out painfully expensive and very inconvenient.
On the plane back, I sketched the logo, prepared the first photos, the posts, and ta-da-daaa — Bike-Off now counts dozens of unique designs and happy cyclists. We know ourselves how much cyclists love to enjoy their toys and take care of them.
Alright, the problem was still unsolved. The bikes were the same. Then Antanas said he’d like golden letters, and I was thinking about stars and elements that would just be fun for me. We agreed — and we did it. I printed out different designs, decorated his bike, then mine. We talked between ourselves that it was actually really nice and fun, and maybe someone else would also enjoy decorating their bikes. It would be great if at least someone else found it interesting too. The thought slipped away for a bit, and then we flew off to a cycling camp in Lanzarote. And that trip pushed us to release Bike-Off into the big wide world. I’m not lying — every day at least one person would ask to take a picture of my bike, whether it was factory-made, or where we got it from. That made me realize, “Okay, it’s not just fun for us.”

The idea itself is to create unique designs that help you stand out in the crowd, without investing thousands of euros, and to let you change your bike as many times as you want. We want to ride on streets filled with unique and beautiful bikes!
Bike-off to show-off!
